Nintendo remakes Famicom Detective Club it has been known for some time. Previously announced in 2019, Nintendo Direct confirmed on Wednesday The missing heir and The girl behind her is launched on the launch date of May 14, bringing western locations for the first time.
In preparation for this, Nintendo has just unveiled a new collector’s edition for Japan. Containing both games on a single cartridge, which comes with a 174-page manual, presenting the character and concept of the remake. It also includes design documents from the original versions, dating from 1988 and 1989.
The reproduction of the promotional leaflets of the original game is present, along with a soundtrack of 75 songs, which contains songs from the Famicom / NES version. There’s no word on a Western version for this collector’s edition, but we’ll keep you posted if it changes.
