DRAMATIC!

EA’s acquisition of racing game maker Codemasters means EA Sports has an F1 racing game for the first time since 2003. F1 2021, available July 16 for Xbox, PlayStation and PC, expands career mode to include a two-player option and introduces Braking Point, a story-based narrative mode that will definitely make driving very fast , very low from the ground more exciting and captivating.

The last time EA released an F1 game was in 2003 F1 Career Challenge, a game that doesn’t even justify it a “reception” section on Wikipedia. At that time, EA lost its F1 license, so it released a game that went back to the years 1999 to 2002 that it had previously granted. Sad. But now EA owns Codemasters, the company that has been making official F1 games since 2009, bringing the highest-sounding car racing back to EA Sports.

Although Codemasters says that the new story mode of the braking point has already been in development, it feels like a kind of EA Sports thing, adding a more personal experience to a somewhat impersonal racing game. There aren’t many details yet on what exactly the Brake Point involves beyond a dramatic trailer and a nice name, but it will appear Devon Butler, the rival character from F1 2019 that the players despise.

And here it is. You may have liked to get some screenshots with race cars or something, but this will have to be done for now. Welcome back to EA Sports, the Formula 1 race.
