In November last year, Nintendo F-Zero the series turned 30 years old. Although there are no signs that he would return soon, if that happened, one guy who would be happy to help is Sega’s Toshihiro Nagoshi.

Nagoshi is known for its production Yakuza Nowadays, but in 2003, he probably worked at The best F-Zero series entry – F-Zero GX for Nintendo GameCube from Sega’s Amusement Vision.

Speaking to Red Bull France late last year, Nagoshi said he would be open to working on the series again if given the opportunity. As unlikely as it may be, it should be a “challenging” game – so Mario Kart is already the “fun and accessible” cursor in the Nintendo library.

“Mmm … Leaving aside the chances of this happening, I have to admit that I have a lot of affection for the F-Zero GX. If the opportunity arose, I wouldn’t mind. And in this case, I would like to make it a challenging game. I think that if Nintendo just wants a racing game that is “fun and affordable”, they already have Mario Kart for that purpose. “

The last F-Zero game released was the Game Boy Advance title in Japan in 2004, F-Zero Climax. Since then, the series has reappeared in games like Nintendo Land and Mario Kart 8 as DLC. Captain Falcon is still one of the main fighters in Super Smash Bros. list as well.
