Officials say that because of these delays, some health departments in the county told ADHS that they had to cancel appointments in the next two days.

ADHS says there are enough doses available for state vaccination sites and other sites that administer the Pfizer vaccine to continue without interruption.

Officials say they are in regular contact with federal and local partners to monitor the situation.

ADHS did not specify which counties informed them about the cancellation or how many meetings will be affected.

Maricopa County says it is not canceling appointments, but will continue to evaluate the offer tomorrow and coordinate with ADHS.

ABC15 is working to find out how the counties will notify people if their appointment has been canceled and if there will be an immediate opportunity to reschedule.
