Bradley Cooper says “yes” to Dada.
We are told that the “Silver Linings Playbook” actor and former Irina Shayk have such a comfortable custody arrangement that they both take their three-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine, to a specialized school in the financial district every Thursday, where she still takes classes. in Shayk’s native Russian language.
The school promises “complete immersion in the Russian language and culture from an early age by creating fun learning experiences” to anyone interested in preserving their heritage [or] adding a new cultural experience. ”
Shayk was born in Yemanzhelinsk in the USSR – now in western Russia – but moved to the United States around 2007, when she began her modeling career after becoming the first Russian to appear on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
Cooper and Shayk – who reunited in 2015 – had Lea in 2017, but broke up in 2019.
According to TMZ, they reached a custody agreement in January requiring both of them to live in New York to co-parent together, even though Cooper had spent much of his time living in Los Angeles. The site said they would divide legal and physical custody 50/50, “although the work schedule varies from month to month.”
TMZ also said they do not have a formal, written custody agreement. “They are so synchronized with their co-parents that I don’t feel the need to memorize it,” he said.
The model recently told Elle magazine that Cooper is “the most amazing father” and insisted that – despite the split – they continue to be “parents” to Lea, rather than “co-parents.”
“I never understood the term co-parents,” Shayk told the magazine. “When I’m with my daughter, I’m 100 percent a mother, and when she’s with her father, he’s 100 percent her father. Co-parenting means parents. ”
A representative for Cooper did not return to us and a representative for Shayk could not be contacted.
