“Everything is clear” given in two separate Walmart stores following the bomb threats, police say

SAN ANTONIO – Two Walmart stores received “everything clear” after receiving bomb threats on Sunday night, according to San Antonio police.

Walmart stores located at 1430 Austin Highway and 2100 Southeast Loop 410 received the threats, according to officials. Around 9:45 p.m., police said customers and employees were left behind in both stores.

Police said the expedition initially received two calls on their non-emergency number, saying several explosive devices should have exploded at some point in both stores.

Officers arrived at both Walmart locations, set up a perimeter, and all employees and customers were evacuated.

Dogs sniffing bombs were also deployed at both stores to help with the investigation.

No explosive devices were found at any store and no injuries were reported, according to police.
