Every game that supports 120Hz on Oculus Quest 2

With the v28 software update, the Oculus Quest 2 now has experimental support for a 120Hz refresh rate. Here is every game that can run at 120Hz on Quest 2 (so far).

Quest 2 was delivered last year with a refresh rate of only 72Hz – just like the original Quest model. Since then, it has received several software updates that add support for higher refresh rates. First it was 90Hz, and now there is experimental support for 120Hz.

Don’t get too excited – not all existing Quest games will be able to support 120Hz. In fact, in the past, John Carmack said that only a few existing Quest games will be able to make the jump from 90 to 120, due to high performance requirements.

To enable 120Hz in the games below, make sure you are updated to v28 in the Quest software, and then enable the 120Hz setting under Experimental Features in the Quest Settings menu. If you still can’t download v28, you may have to wait – Quest software updates are released gradually to users and not all at once.

For some games, you will also need to enable a 120Hz setting in the game menu as well.

Without further ado, here is the list of all Quest 2 games that support 120Hz at the time of writing. This list will be updated frequently as more games add support, so come back often. And if you are a developer with a 120Hz application running on Quest, please contact us at [email protected] to let us know.

You can pick up all these titles from the Oculus store.

Cubism

cubism quest 120hz

Cubism was the first app to add 120Hz support on Quest 2. I reviewed the game last year and thought it was absolutely fantastic. 120Hz support is just the latest in a series of updates that bring the latest Quest technology to the game – a few months ago, Cubism also received fantastic manual tracking support.

Eleven Table Tennis

As a Reddit, I saw that Eleven Table Tennis receives 120Hz support in Quest 2. For a game widely considered to be one of the most accurate table tennis simulations, the easier it can be the better. . This will undoubtedly make Eleven an even easier game to recommend for owners of Quest 2.

Racket Fury

The second app that added 120Hz support on Quest 2 was the Racket Fury table tennis game. You can activate 120Hz in the in-game video options menu.
