Well, the list of distinguished actors attached to this project has just grown by one.
As shared by Hollywood Reporter, Ethan Hawke, from, uh, a lot of amazing stuff, was chosen to play the lead role in the upcoming Disney Plus villain Knight of the Moon series. The series, about which littknown to them other than (confirmed for the most part) rumor that Oscar Isaac plays the lead role, is an adaptation of the Marvel comic of the same name, with an anti-hero of the same name.
Who does that play Ethan Hawke, exactly? Unknown, although the great evil of the Moon Knight is normally a treasure hunter named Bushman. Although, given how eclectic the character’s story is, it’s really hard to tell.
This will be the first role of Ethan Hawke, adjacent to superheroes, and although it is not exact Childhood, will probably bring a lot of humanity and gravitas to the role.
