The Mexican striker, Erick Towers will continue his football career with Atlanta United, since the whole MLS announced that The cube has signed a new contract to play and, by chance, to help young people in their careers with their experience.
By a statement, Atlanta confirmed that the Guadalajara striker remains in MLSAlthough he did not have a 2020 as expected, however, the plus will be that he will work with players and the staff of the club’s Academy.
“The cube had a positive influence on our organization and we are glad that it signed again with the club, “he said Carlos Bocanegra, Vice President and Sports Director of Atlanta United.
“While he brings competition to our group of strikers, he is a veteran who understands the league and showed the willingness to be a mentor for our young players“, the club detailed.
Torres signed in July 2020 with Atlanta, played 13 games, assisted and scored 1 goal. Also II suffered a knee injury that took him away from the courts for a month.
