The singer even said that he had “the best birthday with my 3 wonderful boys”, as he shared a moment that seemed to have been taken to a playroom on Instagram.
Making sure he feels loved, several of Rocket Man’s friends and his willing husband, David Furnish, 58, also shared kind messages wishing him a wonderful day.

The father of two children, 10-year-old Zachary and eight-year-old Elijah, appeared to be sitting in a playroom as several toy boxes and bookshelves could be seen.
Marking the great occasion in style, Elton enjoyed an amazing cake, decorated with lots of fruit and in the shape of 74, which was presented on a plate with a tropical print.
Under the title of the images, Elton wrote: “Having the best birthday with my 3 wonderful boys. What could be better?

David also went on social media to celebrate his other half on Thursday and shared a fun moment of his drinking by rocking some shiny star-shaped glasses.

Victoria Beckham also sent her best wishes to her friend for her birthday, posting a moment of rejection together on a boat.

His father David then joined the festivities by sharing another image from a yacht trip with Elton along with some birthday GIFs.
Bernie Taupin, Elton’s longtime collaborator, wished him well, writing: “A very, very happy birthday, my dear dear.
