Elliot Page revealed that he underwent top surgery as part of his transgender journey.
The star of “The Umbrella Academy” said that the operation, which removes the breast tissue to produce a more masculine appearance, changed her life.
“It completely changed my life,” he told Time magazine in a story.
Page said the operation did not define being trans, but gave her the freedom from “total hell” that was puberty and allowed her to finally recognize herself when she looked in the mirror.
The “Juno” star revealed that she is recovering from the operation when she came out as a transgender in December.

His wife, Emma Portner, said she was “so proud” of Page because she went out and lived authentically, but they have since decided to separate; Page filed for divorce from Portner in January.
