Elderly people waiting for the COVID vaccine are mistaken for “illegal rave”

Lighted party.

Police rushed to a place in England to break what they thought was an illegal rave – only to find that there were a lot of elderly people waiting to receive a coronavirus vaccine, according to reports.

Worried neighbors have called police to report to partygoers who may have shown COVID-19 regulations outside the Saxon Hall venue before dawn on Friday in Essex, according to Echo News.

Instead of ravers, police found retirees – some 90 years old, walking on sticks – while queuing for gunfire.

“It was really funny when the police arrived, because they were told that there was a ‘rave’ at Saxon Hall – just to find 80- and 90-year-olds in wheelchairs, bumper frames and walking sticks patient their vaccinations, ”Saxon Hall President Dennis Baum told local media.

Essex police quickly realized that there were more grandmothers than glowsticks at the event and helped direct traffic around the building, which is generally used for weddings and banquets.

“It was an absolute chaos and very cold. [parking lot] it has become a chockablock with drivers over the age of 80, ”Baum told Harwich and Manningtree Standard. “Grumpy old men and grumpy old women were in abundance.”

He added: “However, as a balancing act, many more grateful people could not have been more grateful to receive the vaccine.”

Calls that misreported the underground beating came after a nearby church was destroyed during an illegal raid on New Year’s Eve.

In this case, the rave featured a DJ and potties, and three people were arrested
