The new EK-Classic GPU water block is part of the EK-Classic range, which is aimed directly at price-conscious users, while reusing some of the key technological solutions and a timeless design that has established EK as the market leader in liquid cooling. a PC industry. This water block is specially designed with a much thicker 11.2 mm copper base to remove high capacitors from most graphic design boards. This offers the advantage of the water block on the market to have a clean design and a wider list of compatibility, without sacrificing any restrictions on the flow of coolant. The block has additional cutouts on the base to accommodate non-standard fan headers and additional PCB components that certain reference models have. The water block also has optimized flow paths that reduce hydrodynamic instabilities and vortices (dead spots) inside them. In addition, this new design allows the terminal to be screwed directly onto the cold copper board of the GPU block, making it more rigid and reducing the chances of damaging the water block.
The EK-Classic water block directly cools the GPU, VRAM and VRM (voltage regulation mode), as the coolant is channeled right over these critical areas.
