Buenos Aires /
Boca Juniors beat 7-1 a Velez Sarsfield as a visitor to one of the games played on Sunday for the fourth meeting of League Cup of Argentine football and will reach the toned duel next Sunday against his rival River Plate.
In the Buenos Aires neighborhood Liniers, after a few weeks of being discreet, Boca regained his confidence before Velez, who came to this party as the leader of Zone B, with a historic victory.
Colombian Edwin Cardona (21) opened the account with a magnificent free kick at ground level which passed under the barrier; he married his compatriot Sebastian Villa (31 and 53) and then converted Gonzalo Maroni (55 and 74), ‘Apache’ Carlos Tevez (62) and the ‘coffee’ steering wheel Jorman Campuzano (89) for Boca.
Juan Lucero, former player of Xolos from Tijuana, (26) scored the only goal for the Velez team, which won the previous three games and suffered a very hard impact.
In this way, Mouth returns to the top of Zone B but, above all, he regains his composure for an unmissable match next Sunday against Bad, on Candy box.
