It returned to the spotlight with Coming 2 America, which gave up Amazon Prime in March, and on April 3 celebrated its 60th anniversary.

And Eddie Murphy says life couldn’t be better than it is now.

“I’m the most comfortable I’ve ever had in my skin,” says Hollywood star Oprah Winfrey in Apple TV + ‘s The Oprah Conversation, which premieres Friday.

Murphy explained: “I feel great, optimistic and totally comfortable in Eddie. I’ve always been comfortable in my skin, but not like now.

In her conversation with Murphy, Oprah talks to him about her successful decades in Hollywood and her return to stand-up comedy.

The acclaimed comedian was 19 years old when he joined Saturday Night Live and at the age of 21 he starred in the film 48 Hours the following year by Trading Places.

His other hits included the Beverly Hills Cop franchise, the comedy The Nutty Professor and his role as providing Donkey’s voice in the Shrek animated film series.

In 2007, Murphy was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for the Dreamgirls.

Murphy also reflects on what he loves most about being a father and grandfather.

In a teaser for Friday’s episode of The Oprah Conversation, Winfrey scolds Murphy for apparently never changing a diaper in his life, despite being the father of 10 children.

“I bought a lot of diapers,” the funny man joked in response.

Last month, Murphy revealed how proud he is of his children between the ages of two and 31.

“I’m so blessed with my kids,” he said on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast.

– I don’t have a bad seed. I don’t have something like, “Oh, you’re the one.” I have none of this. My kids are such great, normal people, and no one is like a Hollywood bastard.

The actor added: “My children are smart and try to do things. I am blessed with my children. I was very lucky.
