Dwayne Johnson shares the first trailer for Young Rock

Dwayne Johnson AKA The Rock is one of the most famous people in the world, with a vast career that began with wrestling and turned into one of the greatest hits in Hollywood. Many people know how Rock started, but the star now gives people a much closer look by producing a new sitcom called Young Rock. I found out yesterday that the show will premiere next month, and Johnson just took a look at the show’s first trailer.

“Every hero has a story of origin,” the trailer begins as it shows clips from some of The Rock’s great movies. “But not a full mustache at the age of 15,” the voice added as a photo of a young Johnson appeared on the screen. “It’s the true story of The Rock’s life.” The trailer continues to feature clips from the show with various actors who play Johnson as a child, teenager and adult. You can check this out in Johnson’s post below:

“Ladies and gentlemen, here’s your first look at @nbcyoungrock,” Johnson wrote in the post caption. I would really like my father to be around to see him. Maaaaan he would have been proud. And yes, I was clearly hitting the bottom of puberty at the age of 15 and becoming a tequila mogul by the age of 10. I can’t wait to make you and your families laugh a little and share the life lessons I’ve learned along the way. “You can read a description for Young Rock From lower:

“Young Rock focuses on different chapters in Dwayne Johnson’s life. From growing up in a strong, resilient family to being surrounded by the wild characters of his professional wrestling family, to playing football at the University of Miami, the show will explore a crazy Russian who turned Dwayne into the man he is today. and in characters older than the life he encountered along the way.
Dwayne Johnson, Joseph Lee Anderson, Stacey Leilua, Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, Uli Latukefu, Ana Tuisila, Fasitua Amosa and John Tui play the lead role. Nahnatchka Khan, Dwayne Johnson, Jeff Chiang, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia, Brian Gewirtz and Jennifer Carreras are executive producers.
“Young Rock” is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, Seven Bucks Productions and Fierce Baby Productions. “

“Working very closely with the creator of our series, Nahnatchka Khan,” Johnson previously shared on Instagram. “He is a brilliant (and very funny) creative partner that I trust as my wildlife story grows. We examine every word from each character, because they are all real people, real family who are still in my life and those who have died. I have to be genuine and understand him. Good, bad, heartbreaking, delightful and hilarious. I can’t wait to see this show. “

Young Rock premieres on NBC on February 16.
