Dustin Diamond’s girlfriend describes his last days

Dash Diamond’s girlfriend Tash said she was “heartbroken” after the death of actor “Saved by the Bell” earlier this week.

“He was the love of my life. We planned a future together and we often talked about having children, “the 39-year-old pharmacy technician told the Daily Mail, adding that she last spoke to him the day before he died. “Even though he was struggling to breathe and had difficulty speaking, he managed to get the words out, ‘I love you,’ and I told him I loved him back.”

Diamond died Monday at the age of 44, just weeks after being diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer.

According to Tash, Diamond was released from the hospital on Monday to his friend Jules’ Ft. Myers, Florida, home for hospice care. While Jules and the hospice worker were preparing their bedroom, Tash arrived to discover Diamond in the front room, not breathing.

His best friend, Dan Block, explained that he could talk last week, but could barely breathe until Sunday.

“We’re not really sure when Dustin died, if he died at Jules’ house, or if he died on the way after he left the hospital,” Block told the store. “It was terrible … we were all crying that he left. I knew he was suffering and not now. ”

Block said Diamond does not want a tombstone or service and will be cremated next week.

“Dustin was scared, he often called me crying, telling me he didn’t want to die,” his friend explained. “She is OK. Once, on the phone, he said to me, “Find me a new body, I don’t want to die.” ”

Block also described a phone call received by Diamond in his last days from actor “Diff’rent Strokes” Todd Bridges.

According to Block, Bridges said to Diamond, “Hey, man, I love you, bro, I’ll see you soon one day.”

Block said Bridges was the last person to talk to Diamond other than him and Tash.

Reflecting on better days, Tash shared exactly how her relationship with Diamond with Facebook ended.

“We had mutual friends. One day I received a message from him, something like, “Hello, how are you?” I didn’t think he was, but I thought he could be a troll, so I decided to play.

“I wasn’t sure I was talking to the real Dustin Diamond until I met him in person and just clicked.”
