Dril makes a video game for “Only real and brave players”

There are celebrities, then there are influencers, and then there are Denim. And now, he makes “the next great game classic.”

If you’ve spent too much time on the weird side of Twitter, you’re probably familiar with Jack Nicholson’s powerful pixelated avatar in sunglasses. You and your fellow Twitter friends are brain-poisoned that you’ve probably ranked your favorite Dril tweets at some point. If not, I envy you and, in short, Dril is the best publicist on Twitter. See: Copy A.

It seems that after writing two books, “The Official Collection of Dril’s Years” and “Get Rich and Become God”, Dril turned his creative vision to another medium. “The corona virus pandemic has fucked us all up,” Patreon said. “Being locked up and / or unemployed for almost a year, it still gave me the opportunity to develop the foundation of a full-fledged 2D action / adventure game, which I think will be pretty good.”

The premise of the game is supposed to be to “look for a silent protagonist” who goes through the secret of immortality and then has to navigate a “dangerous future in which top influencers and corrupt Hollywood boys keep a cruel grip on society.” According to Dril Twitter, the game is intended for “only real and brave players”. You can watch the beta of the game in this YouTube trailer.

So far, the project seems to be an individual show, and Dril estimates he could complete the game “shortly before mid-2020.” At the moment, Dril is collectively funding the project through Patreon and, if he achieves the $ 5,000 goal, promises to “make the game good.” If he reaches $ 10,000, Dril promises to “make the game very good.”

To date, Dril has raised $ 1,937.43. Given that Dril announced the game on Twitter just four hours ago, it’s pretty impressive.
