Dragon Ball teases Broly’s new SSJ form in New Promo

Dragon ball tease Broly’s new Super Saiyan form with a new promo. Although Broly was not an official part of Dragon Ball’s canon to the events of Dragon Ball Super: Broly, the character enjoyed a certain level of popularity and recognition in various secondary projects in the franchise. Because while the popular enemy was not part of the official story, its impact on Dragon ball the universe as a whole meant that the character was perfect for several major cameos and other appearances in which the canon did not necessarily matter.

This includes Heroes Super Dragon Ball Arcade card game, which uses all sorts of unique characters and enemies from the entire franchise in new ways. Broly has already achieved some surprising power improvements through this franchise with the Super Saiyan 3 and even Super Saiyan 4 forms, and now Broly will receive an upgrade to his Super Saiyan 4 form in an official update. You can check out a tease for this startup thanks to @DBSChronicles on Twitter:

Super Saiyan 4 Limit Breaker was a new form introduced during the expansion of the Big Bang mission in Heroes Super Dragon Ball arcade game. This form revealed a new level of power for Goku, Vegeta and Vegito from Xenoverse universe, and fans saw this very form in anime action with the second season of the promotional anime series. But Broly and this new form probably won’t go to that anime production.

Regardless, Broly will unlock a powerful new Super Saiyan 4 form as soon as he crosses the line of transformation. The demands of the story have caused other Saiyans to channel their energy into Super Saiyan 4 to reach this new level of power, so it’s certainly interesting to imagine what Heroes Super Dragon Ball planned to explain this major upgrade to one of the franchise’s biggest enemies.

What do you think about the fact that Broly reaches not only Super Saiyan 4, but also an updated version of this power? Where do you think Broly’s canonical version is now? Which version of the character do you prefer to see in action?
