A group of health workers were on hand at the event Wednesday morning to receive the second dose of vaccine, three weeks after receiving the first. Watch the video of the event in the player below.
Dr. Christ also received his second vaccination and soon left the press conference without being given a chance to ask questions and answers, despite the worsening COVID-19 crisis in our state.
Arizona’s chief public health director had the opportunity to show the media the second dose of vaccines.
He did not receive any questions and left immediately after obtaining the second 💉

In mid-December, Governor Doug Ducey and Dr. Christ appeared together while visiting a vaccination site, urging Arizonans to get the vaccine.
ABC15 reporter Mike Pelton spoke with Banner Health’s clinical director, Dr. Marjorie Bessel, on Wednesday, if he thinks Dr. Christ and Governor Ducey have done a good job helping hospitals fight this growth.
“We’re not doing a good job with this virus right now,” Dr. Bessel said.
Valleywise Health also said on Wednesday that it is keeping patients in emergency rooms because there are no intensive care or hospital beds.
