Don’t miss the brave card game Excellent Default 2

Like any massive RPG, Default brave 2 presents a game within the game. It’s called Bind & Divide or B&D (yes, yes, like the game). It’s a compelling card game you don’t want to miss, but you could easily repay the credits without ever playing a round.

B&D is more or less Default with courage on the way to Gwent. You and a computer-controlled opponent each have a six-card deck. Place them one by one on a grid five by five, in order to capture as much territory as possible. Each square captured corresponds to a point. Each book – based on enemies, characters, and job classes in the “real” game – looks different. An orc, for example, will occupy three spaces in a horizontal line, while a sahagin will occupy two vertical ones. A character card can change the rules of the game, say, so that each monster-themed card can occupy an extra square, regardless of the team. Meanwhile, workbooks come with bonus skills. An early one, the Player, will randomly exchange squares with one of the opponent’s occupied squares.

You play like the blue team. The placement of this wolf book will bring you four points, as you turn that red square into a sandwich.

However, creating your own territory is not enough to win. You also need to remove your opponent’s territory from the board. Most books have a primary square plus at least one secondary square. Secondary squares can occupy territory, but if you place them above the space occupied by an enemy, both will be removed from the board – canceling that point for both. (The square can then be occupied again by each player.)

It is a solid strategy, but you will have a better chance of victory if you convert the enemy’s territory into your team. Removing an opponent’s square – horizontally, vertically or diagonally – will change his side. A well-placed book can convert a significant amount of territory by changing the dashboard to one tenth.

Just like Gwent players rent a place at each tavern in The Wizard 3, B&D players can be found everywhere Default brave 2. When you win a round, you will earn points. Then you will be able to use these points to buy cards from the hand of a defeated opponent. The good ones, go to the figure, it costs more, so each victory generates a crossroads. Do you spend your points right then and there? Or do you bank them in the hope that a game change card might appear after your next victory?

You can organize three decks. As far as I know, you can customize your decks only in the pre-match menu that appears before each game, but you can view any unlocked cards by starting the Lore menu and selecting “Card Binder”.

Okay, I’m sold. Where do I start?

Where else? In Savalon’s gambling house!

B&D is hidden as a side mission, so you’ll be forgiven for going right next to it. (In general, Default brave 2Side missions are omitted because they usually range from empty to useless-minded.) At one of the card tables next to the fountain, you’ll see a side mission offered by an NPC named Shirley. Talk to her to win a basic package and start a series of tutorials.

I didn’t stumble upon Shirley until Chapter 4, about 40 hours after the game, but you can apparent the search line begins after you unlock the Beastmaster job in chapter 1. After a few basic battles, which you can tackle in the gambling hall, you’ll have to go against Shirley. Compared to the others you struggle with, she’s a glove. Here are some tips:

  • Try to group the squares together so that they cannot be surrounded. Sticking to the corners will help protect you.
  • Your initial package will start with the Gambler card, which changes your placement with one of Shirley’s. Don’t bother using it, because you can’t control the result.
  • Stack your package with humanoid and spiritual books. Play a card that strengthens that class of cards, regardless of team membership, so you’ll get a serious boost if you have a bunch in the pack.
  • I learned this through trial and error, but most often, the match against Shirley starts with the first move. You will be in a better position if you are on the defensive, because you will make the last move and therefore you will not be caught unawares by a move that changes the game at the last minute. If you fight, restart until you start a defensive round.
  • If you are really fighting, think about traveling around the world a bit, taking low-level B&D opponents, winning cards, and building your decks. There is one, for example, outside the Savalon Inn. Another takes place in Rimedahl, also next to the inn. You can identify players by looking for NPCs with small card icons floating above their heads.

Shirley’s beating in B&D will actually trigger a boss fight Default with courage the fight. Since I was so overloaded, I took her and her colleagues out twice, but I felt it wasn’t such a hard fight. (He teamed up with the boss behind the Bard asterisk – which you’ll already defeat by then – plus two low-level soldiers. Monk’s pressure point move!)

Do I have something for that?

You bet. After defeating Shirley in both B&D and combat, you will receive an asterisk for the Gambler job. Undoubtedly, the player is Default brave 2the most unpredictable job. A move makes you spin two wheels – one with a number, one with an element – and make an attack based on the result. Another is to spin a wheel with the numbers one to ten. Land on ten and everyone in your group can earn three BPs … or maybe your enemies will earn three BPs. Oops!

Moreover, rather than MP or BP, many of the player’s moves consume your game currency. As a result, it’s better suited for a job in the middle or at the end of the game, once you’re rich in Rockefeller.

It ‘s a decent prize – after all, one of your main goals in Default brave 2 is to collect each asterisk – but it fades compared to the opportunity to play an extraordinary game in a game already quite extraordinary. Two for one? Talk about a light bet.
