While it is certainly more of a feature than an error, Tomorrow’s DC legends on the CW went through a lot of cast figures in the five seasons (the sixth will premiere on May 2), Sara Lance of Caity Lotz and Mick Rory of Dominic Purcell, being the only cast members in the pilot that I’m still around – not to mention the trusted navigator AI Gideon, played by Amy Louise Pemberton, both in voice and in rare cases where she has a physical body. Unfortunately, at the end of the show’s sixth season, it looks like another member of the show’s team will be leaving Waverider … but here’s a drama that needs to be addressed.

We are referring to Purcell, whose Mick Rory has been a bit weird in the show for the past few years, given how often his stories involve not wanting to go on adventures so he can stay in his room and get drunk. (again, the feature is not an error). On Saturday morning, Purcell posted a message on Instagram saying he’ll leave the show after season six, but that’s not all he said! The post has since been deleted, but noted that the “studio” (Warner Bros., or at least its TV subsidiary) “doesn’t care” and asked his future cast members to keep an eye on newcomers. , so as not to be fooled by the studio. He also added that any curious actor should snatch it to talk about “fake.” [c-words]. ”

As this post started circulating, Purcell deleted it and replaced it with an almost identical one that replaced all colored complaints about the studio with nice things about the “wonderful relationships” he made with the cast and crew. He acknowledged the previous post, saying it was “difficult” and “straight to the point” because he was who he was, but added that he did not have “beef” with the studio and was only “frustrated and annoyed”. Because he was “locked up in Vancouver for nine months,” so he could film during the pandemic. Finally, he also mentioned that he is not really leaving because he is still under contract until season seven, that he has an “extraordinary relationship” with the people who run the show and that he will continue to appear “periodically”.

Then he deleted that post and replaced it with a completely different one in which he joked about how much attention his exaggerated comments received and how he was most pressured Tomorrow’s DC legends it had been there for years. Then – and you won’t believe it –deleted that post and he hasn’t said anything else since. Deadline say that The CW and WBTV did not release any comments, but DeadlineSources say that the distribution negotiations for next season have not even started yet, so it is not clear if Purcell is going to leave or if (as he said) he is venturing.
