Dogecoin has grown at an all-time high on Sunday as Elon Musk tweeted “Who let the Doge out” in the middle of the rally.

Shiba Inu-themed digital currency surpassed 8 cents for the first time, just one week after it collapsed to 2.5 cents and caused a cried Reddit. Increased 53% in the last 24 hours to 8.2 cents since 5:45 p.m. in New York on Sunday, according to CoinMarketCap data, passing through its recent record of 7.8 cents, published at the end of January.

It now has a market value of $ 10 billion, making it the 8th largest cryptocurrency.

The price recovered in the last week after Co-founder of Tesla Inc. Elon Musk has returned from his self-imposed Twitter break to send a series of tweets promoting Dogecoin.

Started as a joke in 2013, Dogecoin has gained a wave of new popularity on social media, fueled by the speculative frenzy of retail investors.

Bitcoin also rallied this week, breaking a record $ 40,000 before earning winnings.
