JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla. – A dog owner in Jacksonville Beach says he is desperately looking for a GrubHub delivery driver who was caught by surveillance, taking his puppy home after the food was delivered.
Rick Block says his family ordered a pizza at Gusto’s restaurant on Saturday around 6 p.m.
But when the delivery driver handed the pizza to his wife and she returned, Block says the driver took the opportunity to get his Poodle cup of tea named Lexi.
The delivery driver was surprised by the rooms in the condominium that were going in an elevator with the brown dog in his hand. Then he put Lexi in a paper bag before leaving the building and the car.
He was seen leaving in a blue Ford Focus.
Block says the Gusto restaurant cooperated with the investigation.
Lexi is 10 months old and has curly brown hair. If anyone has seen her in the Jacksonville Beach area, contact Jacksonville Beach police.
