Los Angeles Dodgers and shortstop Corey Seager avoided refereeing, famed MLB Network journalist Jon Heyman reported. Seager, a client at Boras Corporation, will receive a salary of $ 13.75 million in the 2021 season. At just 26, Seager has already won a number of career honors, including the 2016 National Rookie of the Year League.
He also won the NLCS 2020 MVP and the World Series MVP and two All-Star Game nominations. Even before his tears in the playoffs last fall, it was an exceptional season for Seager, who succeeded.
Big money dodgers could certainly expand Seager soon, but from now on, he is about to be one of the most sought after players in the free agent market next winter.
Seager could be part of a ridiculously deep break class, as Francisco Lindor, Trevor Story and Borinqueños colleagues Carlos Correa and Javier Báez will also be on hand. All are under 28 years old.
