We are currently doing a lot of things that we would not have anticipated just a few years ago. For many, this includes work and home schooling, and the past year has seen a boom in Chromebook sales. So this week is the time for a (slightly modified) survey in the archives to see how times have changed. Do you have a Chromebook?
You may be surprised to hear at least one of us here at Android Police doing his job – writing, taking photos, editing, blogging – on a Chromebook. I know, we’re known to be masochists, but I’m told it’s not a bad experience. Although it’s been a while since I’ve tried my full workflow within the confines of a Chrome OS laptop, given how it works over the years and the fact that I know I can do my job (more slowly) on a phone, I can believe.
However, my opinion does not really fit into it. From what I hear, a lot People are currently using Chromebooks for distance education or as cheap cars from home, and the reason is clear: they are very accessible. Netbooks can be dead, but they live, in a way, with Chromebooks.
In 2018, it sounded great Easy most of our readers have had one – or at least used one on a regular basis. It will not be a direct comparison, but I would like to know how many of you have now in 2021.
