Lawyers’ sources confirm that Omar Pastor died due to complications due to COVID-19

Disraeli’s lawyer Omar Pastor, a former chamber magistrate and close to the left-wing sectors, died on Monday at El Salvador Hospital due to complications from COVID-19, sources from the lawyers’ union confirmed.

Pastor has been the second magistrate of the first criminal chamber in recent years.

Previously, he was a litigant and director of the Institute of Legal Studies (IEJES), an entity that has always been linked to the militant left and to which the current vice president Felix Ulloa also belonged.

The lawyer’s family confirmed on Sunday that he is being treated at the El Salvador hospital and hopes that he will overcome that difficult moment, but yesterday the news of his death was revealed.
