Disney’s streaming service now supports bundling with ESPN + and the ad-free version of partner Hulu.

Originally announced at Disney’s Investor Day in December, Disney + now offers the option to include the Hulu premium level with ESPN + for $ 19 per month, while the package normally costs $ 13 per month with Hulu, which is accepted advertising. The new ad-free package option was launched late last week, the company told Gizmodo. Individually, Disney + costs $ 7 per month, ESPN + costs $ 6 per month, and Hulu, supported by commercials, charges $ 6 per month, which means you actually get a third free service by grouping the three.

Technically, these grouping options were already available through Hulu. The company confirmed to Gizmodo in December that bundled subscribers could get Hulu without ads with Disney + and ESPN + if they subscribed through the Hulu website, not through the Disney service. Received subscribers will still need to go through Hulu if they want additional options included in their package, such as Hulu with Live TV (which also has options for Hulu advertising or without ads).

Keep in mind that these prices are set to change, though. Starting next month, the Disney + ad-supported Hulu package will increase by $ 14 per month per month, the company said. has announced in December. Only Disney + will also receive a price jump from $ 7 to $ 8 starting March 26 (and up to $ 80 per year from $ 70). There is no official word yet on the cost of the ad-free version of the package when prices change, a Gizmodo spokesman said this week.

Even with its new pricing, however, Disney will equal for three services what Netflix subscribers pay for one in accordance with the company’s standard plan. As for getting the biggest bang for your dollar – price increases accounted for – the Disney + package still offers one of the best general options for money. Plus, you may have heard of this little …known series called The Mandalorian? I heard good things.
