Disco Elysium: Final Cut Patch 1.2, now available on PS5, promises to fix major bugs

Elysium Disc The Final Cut Patch 1.2

Update: Typical. Typical bloody. You write an article about a patch that has been missing for a whole week, and the word of mouth thing appears almost as soon as you click on “publish”. The unreal moment, but at least the 1.2 update is finally here. It is available for download right now on PS5.

Meanwhile, we assume that the PS4 patch is imminent.

Original story: Disco Elysium: Final Cut made its way to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 just over a week ago. We are currently playing it for review and we think it is a really fascinating title – but there is no denying how buggy it can be. Indeed, we have reached a point where a particularly nasty error prevents us from following a specific story – an error that should be resolved with the next update of the game, patch 1.2.

However, this update has been missing for a full week now. The ZA / UM developer recently said that the patch was expected to arrive yesterday (ie April 6), but it never arrived. As such, dissatisfied players were left essentially in the language – including ourselves.

We hope that the update mentioned above will appear suddenly at any time now, but it is still a regrettable situation. Again, Disco Elysium is clearly something special – but bugs have soured our experience so far. Of course, we will update this article in case the patch falls in the near future.
