Diego Vázquez climbed a Yankel wall to watch the match against Marathón

San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Diego Vázquez received a new penalty, but that didn’t stop him from watching the classic Motagua against Marathon at Yankel Rosenthal Stadium on the second day of the 2021 Clausura Tournament.

The Argentine coach climbed a wall to be able to observe the actions of his team in the match that Cyclone Azul eventually won 0-1 due to a goal by Paraguayan Roberto Moreira.

Vázquez arrived in the northern part of the Yankel Rosenthal stadium on board a truck and did not hesitate for a second to reach the wall and thus see everything that was happening on the field.

The Blues coach found out on Friday the new sanction of a game applied by the National Discipline Commission. The punishment was due to the fact that Vázquez was giving instructions from the stands to his players in the game of the first match against UPN, when he could not do so because he was sanctioned.

“La Barbie” Vázquez and Motagua are in a perfect rhythm in the new championship, with two victories in two games.
