A new rumor has surfaced that could give us an idea of what a future addition to the PlayStation Plus could be. Although there is no guarantee that this title could go to PS Plus, it seems that it could at least be available for free in the future.
In a new cryptic tweet from a Nick Baker on Twitter, the launch of Activision and FromSoftware in 2019 Sekiro: The shadows die twice it looks like it may soon be available for free to some users. Although Baker did not offer much in terms of specifics, he encouraged those who were interested in raising Axe not to buy the game “in the next few months or so”. Clearly, he seems to have some sort of inside information about the prospects of the title being made available for free.
If you are thinking of buying Sekiro in the next few months or so … maybe resist. Just in case

The reason this could be a tease about the PlayStation Plus is because Baker has provided credible information in the past about games heading to Sony. Before it was officially announced by PlayStation, Baker was one of the first to suggest that Final Fantasy VII Remake would be one of the free games joining PS Plus for March. As such, it would not be surprising if he had a spring about what could come to work in the coming months.
That being said, Baker could also tease here Sekiro: The shadows die twice may come to Xbox Game Pass. Baker’s history is actually more involved in the Xbox brand, as it hosts a podcast and helps run a website dedicated to the platform. Given this, it is difficult to say what location Axe it might come, but still, it looks like it might be available for free at some point in 2021. Usually, though, you take all of this with a grain of salt until we hear more at a later date.
