Did the jets blow him winning? Why did the eagles wait for Jalen Hurts to start? Judging the NFL’s exaggerated reactions in week 15

When you are a fan of a team, you always like to see your team win. Right?

For example, if you are a Jets fan and watched every game this season while they lost, lost and lost, sometimes in inexplicable ways, and entered Week 15 with a 0-13 record, you should You absolutely enjoyed watching them on Sunday beating the Rams. Right???

It was a dominant victory. A historic victory. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the Jets are the second 0-13 team in NFL history to win a game they never went to. The other was the 1962 Raiders, who defeated the Patriots in Week 15 of that season, and if you have the 1962 Google Raiders, you’ll find out that their quarterback was Cotton Davidson. So that’s great, isn’t it? Right??????

You can see where I’m going with this. Jets fans, or at least a significant percentage of them, could, in fact not be happy that their team won on Sunday. After suffering so much through a brutal season, without victories, fans had begun to feel comforted knowing, at least, that they would be rewarded with the general election no. 1 of the 2021 NFL Draft and with a shot at Clemson defensive end Trevor Lawrence. The Jaguars entered on Sunday with a record of 1-12 and were asked by the Ravens in the early Sunday window. So the Jets fans knew their team had to lose to stay “ahead” of Jacksonville in the race for Lawrence.

Remember the clichés. Jets don’t even know how to lose properly etc. It may be unconventional to lead the excessive column of Week 15 with the two worst teams in the league, but hey, it’s been an unconventional year:

The Jets win was their most disappointing game of the season
