Rumors that Dale Moss cheated on former “Bachelorette” Clare Crawley with a “mysterious woman” named Eleonora Srugo have spread around the internet this week.
While Srugo vehemently denied that she had ever been romantically involved or been with the former NFL professional, a photo taken in Cipriani Downtown in early November first sparked speculation that the pair were more than friends.
However, sources close to Srugo told Page Six exclusively on Friday that she only hit Moss, 32, at the Manhattan hotspot and that she was actually having a date.
“These references to a dinner at Cipriani are false,” her representative, Ronn Torossian, told us. “Miss. Srugo was with a guy and a group of friends he saw at Cipriani. It’s just not true.”
Her publicist added that real estate agent Douglas Elliman is “focused on his real estate career” and “never connected with Dale and [they] never dated. She was there with someone she was dating then. ”
E! The news reported earlier that the outing “definitely looked like a date” and “Dale looked very smiling and happy with her. They laughed and flirted. ”
However, a source told Page Six that Srugo was sitting at a different table that evening and is not one of the women photographed next to Moss in the photo circulating online. We are told that the woman sitting directly next to Crawley’s ex-fiancé is model Brooks Nader, who is married to Billy Haire.
Earlier that day, paparazzi captured photos of Moss, Nader and Rachel Hilbert having lunch in New York and attending a Hugo Boss event. Apparently the group went for drinks at Cipriani Downtown, where Moss then met Srugo.
“You don’t go to Cipriani if you’re wrong,” said a source. “Go there to be seen.”
We are told that Moss and Srugo only exchanged a quick and goodbye greeting.
Torossian told us earlier: “They have never been romantically involved in any way. Eleonora was delighted with her engagement and wishes her all the best. ”
Meanwhile, Crawley and Moss did not comment on the alleged scam.
The former couple announced that they broke up after a five-month engagement and a whirlwind story.
Moss wrote in a statement about the split: “We appreciate the love and support we have received from so many people, but this is the healthiest decision for both of us right now. We only hope for the best for each other. ”
Then Crawley seemed blinded by Moss’s “mutual” statement, writing on Instagram: “The truth is, I’m crushed.”
In season 16 of “The Bachelorette”, Crawley and Moss got engaged after only a few weeks.
Representatives for Moss and Crawley did not immediately return requests for comment.
