Developer Celeste teases his next game, Earthblade, with a “vibration reveal”

The developer of indie hits Celeste and Turnfall presented his next game: Earthblade. There aren’t many details about the game yet, but Extremely OK Games announced Monday’s news as a “vibration revelation”, removing the game’s titles, a poster and a song from the game.

You can see the poster and logo of the game (designed by Pedro Medeiros) and you can listen to the song (composed by Lena Raine) in a video teaser posted on Twitter.

We might wait a while for the game to actually launch. Extremely OK Games has officially listed only a vague release date as “20XX”, and the studio’s Maddy Thorson said in Monday’s announcement blog that it sounds optimistic to say out loud Earthblade could be released within 5 years from Celeste. ” (Celeste, if you are wondering appeared in January 2018.) “The truth is that we do not know how long it will last, only that it will last as long as it will last (and that it will last a long time),” Thorson added.

We may have to wait a while for more news about the game. “While manufacturing Celeste, I practically tweeted anything interesting that we worked on every day, when we wanted to share “, said Thorson. “But an air of mystery lends itself particularly well to this project, so we chose to save everything for a big revelation that, we hope, will throw your socks. It will probably take some time before you get more information about Earthblade. ”

While you wait Earthblade, you should play Celeste if you haven’t already. It’s really good.
