Deshaun Watson would rather trade than the Jets

Go on, Jets fans. Big dream – Deshaun Watson big.

The disgruntled Pro Bowl defender would have the Jets on his wish list, followed by rival Dolphins, according to the Miami Herald.

Watson, a 25-year-old star, has been disappointed by the Texans and has a ban clause, which gives him power over his next stop. The Miami Herald reported that Watson is in love with new Jets coach Robert Saleh and wanted the Texans to target the former 49ers defensive coordinator for the vacant head coach position.

It is said that Watson, a three-time Pro Bowler, would have upset the Texans because after he was initially promised to be part of the process of hiring their new CEO, his contribution was largely ignored. The team eventually hired former Patriots executive Nick Caserio. Watson was also upset last year when Texans changed their main target, DeAndre Hopkins, to the Cardinals.

Richard Sherman, a 49-year-old from the Jets, applauded Saleh’s hiring by the Jets and told Watson he should push the Texans to change him there.

“I’d get out of there as soon as I could, I’d be heading to New York,” Sherman said recently on the Cris Collinsworth podcast.

This report is the latest example of Watson’s potential desire to play for the Jets. The official account of the Texan star liked a picture on the back page of the station on Monday, in which it was said that the Jets should do “whatever it takes” to buy the quarterback.

Watson was also in the area, participating in a Brooklyn Nets game last week and is said to be friendly with Kevin Durant.

The Jets had a chance to withdraw Watson from Clemson in 2017, but took Jamal Adams safely in 6th place. Watson fell to the Texans at number 12.
