The four-part series, which details Lovato’s journey to and after her almost fatal overdose in 2018, was long awaited and comes before the singer’s first album in 2017, “Dancing with the Devil … The Art of Starting Again.” to be released on April 2.
During the two 20-minute episodes, Lovato explained how “he crossed a line I had never crossed in the addictive world” and that when he initially relapsed after many sober years, “he just left. in town”.

The 28-year-old said she started using heroin and cracking cocaine recreationally after trying them when a dealer did not have her usual favorite combination of cocaine and Xanax. Her addiction to both drugs became so bad, she said, that she was a heavy drinker of both after her tour.
