Also on Monday, Demi Lovato shared a few backstage posts in which she does a pink paint job and a pink plaid suit that she wore for an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The 28-year-old is back in the spotlight with her documentaries, Demi Lovato: Dancing With The Devil.

In it, she details the almost fatal overdose in 2018 and the subsequent journey to sobriety.

Sitting on Monday with DeGeneres, she explained how she feels freer and more authentic since she cut her hair.

“I feel like I’m hiding behind my hair,” said Lovato, who confessed that he used to cover his body with his long locks when battling eating disorders.

“When I started doing all these things on myself, I thought,‘ what is something I’ve been holding on to all my life that I have to give up? “She explained about her decision to cut off her head.

“I just wanted to tell the world, ‘Hey, that’s how it happened, that’s how we succeeded, and we hope that can help you too,'” she explained.

“Because this trip was such a wild trip, but I learned so much and I can’t wait to share it with the world.”

The trailer that came out last week shocked Lovato’s fans with his sincere confession that he suffered “three strokes” as a result of his overdose, as well as “a heart attack” that left her “brain damaged”.

As she continued to reflect on the life-changing incident and the effect it continued to have on her, her friends and family, Demi compared her resilience to that of a nine-life cat.

“I had a lot of lives, like my cat. You know, I’m in my ninth life, “she said. “I’m ready to go back and do what I love, which is to make music.”
