Delta Airlines resumes its activities at Villeda Morales today

Copa Airlines and Delta Airlines are the airlines which this month has resumed its activities in the Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport.

Delta Airlines will resume operations at the sampedrana terminal as of today following suspension of operations in November due to storms Eta and Iota.

Michael Wehmeyer, general manager of Copa Airlines, reported that the airline has been flying to and from Panama-San Pedro Sula four times a week since mid-month.

He explained that they are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

“The flight arrives direct from Panama at 11:00 and departs Panama and connections at 12:00,” said Wehmeyer.

Today the airline joins Delta Airlines with its route Atlanta, United States, and San Pedro Sula. From the industrial capital, passengers board flight DL1842, which departs at 1:15 PM and arrives at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport at 5:27 PM.

The flight from Atlanta to San Pedro Sula It will be DL1920, from 9:45 AM to 12:00 PM. The above hours are local.

Leo Castellón, holder of the Supervision of public-private partnerships (Sapp), stated earlier this month that the counters custom and with specifications of each airline would be installed on February 22 (today), when they are working with preliminary tables.

Villeda currently registers 52 international flights and 25 domestic flights per week.
