This sandwich wrapped a real fist.
A man who ordered a few meals early in the morning at a Hamilton Heights delicacy does not seem to be happy with the results. Police say he started fighting for a sandwich with a worker, who was identified by police as Ali Zubaidi.
Beef from 5 in the morning continued outside the store at 3660 Broadway.
Zubaidi, 26, is accused of punching the unidentified 29-year-old client and knocking him to the ground, police said. The victim cut off his hands and neck, police said.
Zubaidi of the Bronx has been charged with assault.
A man who answered the phone at N&H Deli on Saturday afternoon said Zubaidi had been working there for less than a month and that the injured client may have been drunk.
