On March 4, 2022, “The Batman”, the “reboot” of The Dark Knight with British actor Robert Pattinson as the superhero, is released. But in the DC Comics universe, in the following films, another actor will dress up as the Batman: Michael Keaton.
Keaton, best known for his role as Batman in “Batman” (1989) and “Batman Returns” (1992) directed by Tim Burton, will reprise the character in “The Flash,” director Andy Muschietti’s next film with Ezra Miller as Barry. Allen and that will arrive in 2022. Interestingly, in that movie the quick scarlet will also appear Ben Affleck’s Batman, in doubt due to the differences between the actor and Warner Bros.
Despite this, DC Comics was tasked with explaining how two and possibly three Batmans will coexist in its cinematic universe, with Robert Pattinson being his bet for the future.
multiverse
“New York Times” interviewed Walter Hamada, president of DC Films, who confirmed a multiverse in the following films, confirming the presence of Gal Gadot as “The Wonderful Woman” in the films of other superheroes and the date he manages for the premiere of ‘Flash ‘.
To make sense of everything between Robert Pattinson’s Batman and Michael Keaton’s Batman, DC Films and Warner will introduce fans to “parallel worlds where there are different versions of the same character simultaneously.”
Hello @brooksbarnesNYT. Based on your play from Hamada, some have interpreted that WB makes two franchises with Batman, one with Pattinson, one with a new actor. Is that correct, or did you refer to Keaton as a second Batman, part of a non-Batman-centered saga? Thanks!

We went offline (move apartments) and come back to see this madness of Michael Keaton. I was referring to * a movie * that Keaton was announced to be in, not a set of his own Batman movies. If I had information about him beyond the “Flash”, I would have obviously put it in my article

Basically, the feature film franchise will have two worlds, and journalist Brooks Barnes, who interviewed Hamada, confirmed on Twitter that Batman’s future will be linked to two names: Pattinson and Keaton, whose participation is currently limited to the Flash Band .
