Cyberpunk 2077 developers could have even bigger problems, according to the new report

It’s been exactly a month since then 2077. Cyberpunk it eventually hit store shelves, but it was certainly a slow one for the CD Projekt Red team. After launching in a disgusting state on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, the development studio worked tirelessly to improve the quality of the game in a short time. And now, it seems that CDPR members could be under even more pressure to ensure that the game reaches a better state in the near future.

According to a new report by the Polish publication Benchmark, Poland’s own competition and consumer protection office (abbreviated UOKIK) is now interested in CD Projekt Red and is monitoring the situation with 2077. Cyberpunk quite a bit. As the name of the entity suggests, UOKIK serves the general public in Poland to ensure that the interests of consumers are protected. Although UOKIK has not taken any action, it may do so in the future.

For now, the office only makes sure that CD Projekt Red keeps its promises about the future. 2077. Cyberpunk. In recent weeks, the studio has said it will add new updates to the game over the next two months to improve iterations of game consoles. If it does not happen as intended, UOKIK could switch to CD Projekt Red.

It is important to note that UOKIK has not yet been fined and there is a chance that they will never do so. That being said, if the office considers that CD Projekt Red was unfair to consumers in some way and that the promised corrections are not sufficient to meet customer complaints, it could fine the studio with up to 10% of its annual revenue. Again, there is a pretty decent chance that this will not happen, but it may depend on the actions of CD Projekt Red in the coming weeks and months.

The biggest disadvantage of this situation is that it will put even more stress on CDPR developers, who are certainly exasperated as it is. All in all, this situation has been a frustrating one to follow in many ways, but hopefully Cyberpunk 2077 the quality will continue to improve as we move forward.
