It had to happen sooner or later: someone destroyed Cyberpunk 2077 to look like a PS1 game.
You can watch the full video below from YouTube user Anders Lundbjörk. Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay as a PS1 game begins with the user running down a futuristic but pixelated street, stopping to admire an error in which a palm tree bends over it to warp into the ground (which is a bug of its own -said in Cyberpunk 2077, don’t forget).
Then the player pulls someone out of the vehicle, punching him in the face before posing and flying in the air. T-positioning issues have haunted Cyberpunk 2077 since launch, with several users on all platforms reporting that the protagonists and their NPCs would t-pose and blink at objects such as cars.
Completing the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay as a PS1 game is, of course, Johnny Silverhand. Like any other detail in this video game, Johnny does not appear exactly as intended, with his neck resembling that of a giraffe. The whole video throws a bit of fun at the Cyberpunk 2077 status on PS4 and Xbox One, which, if you haven’t heard, is pretty awful.
After hordes of players around the world reported performance issues while playing Cyberpunk 2077 on state-of-the-art consoles, CD Projekt’s management apologized, saying they would help reimburse anyone who wanted their money back. Currently, Sony, Microsoft, Best Buy and GameStop are accepting all refunds for Cyberpunk 2077, with CD Projekt executives promising that “bugs will be removed” after console patches.
