Cuomo employees bail as a nursing home, sexual harassment scandals

Governor Andrew Cuomo’s staff were given more layoffs on Friday as the three-year-old staffer struggled to hold on to his powerful post amid growing calls for his impeachment over sexual harassment allegations and covering up the death of the nursing home.

The governor’s office confirmed the departure of data analyst Erin Hammond and one of Cuomo’s planners, Sophie Boldison, in a statement to The Post.

A Cuomo spokesperson said Hammond was leaving to “focus on her family” and that Boldison was taking a new position in the state university system – claiming both rooms had been in the works for some time.

At least five assistants have left Cuomo’s staff in the past week, and reports have surfaced of a toxic work environment even before the scandals.
