Cruise tourism gets a new line from La Romana

Norwegian Cruise Line is the new cruise line to begin operations in the country in July, arriving at the port of La Romana.

President Luis Abinader emphasized that with this agreement the country can receive about 20,000 tourists per month.

The cruise line will resume operations with a reduced capacity of its ships, two stopovers in the Caribbean, and as its parent port La Romana, where its first arrival is expected on August 15.

As part of the biosafety measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, passengers and crew are required with a boarding date up to October 31, are vaccinated and screened before boarding.
