Criollos put the Indians in check and stroked the title of winter baseball

Jarren Durán led four of Caguas Criollos’ seven runs, including a three-run homer, for his third straight 7-3 win on Saturday against Indios de Mayaguez in the third game of the baseball league series. Professional Roberto Clemente (LBPRC) at Hiram Bithorn Stadium.

Durán broke a 2-2 tie in the seventh with a double RBI and then disappeared into the left field with two runners based on eight to lift the Creole leadA.

The Indians started the game aggressively, scoring the first round in the opening half. Henry Ramos and Jack Lopez opened the scoring with a single straight, advancing to the error-scoring position in defense of Joneswhy Fargas. Tribe-appointed hitter Iván De Jesús Jr. led Ramos with only one field in the center.

Caguas was quick to respond when in the second act, a double by Vimael Machín and an indisputable by Jonathan Morales equalized the score.

With a double field to the right, José Miranda entered the traffic and advanced 90 feet from the plateau among Víctor Caratini. Only a wild field by Luis Medina with Machín in the box of the striker was enough for Criollos to take the lead 2-1.

Mayagüez takes the lead by opening the seventh half. Danny Ortiz’s double brought the tie to the plate at Lopez’s feet, but Brian Navarreto was shot in a scoring attempt by Morales.
