Credible Leaker says new iMac will feature a “really big” display larger than the current 27-inch model

Credible speaker l0vetodream today approved widespread speculation that one of the redesigned new iMacs, expected to be released sometime this year, will have a larger display than the current largest offering in the iMac range.

Apple currently sells a 21.5-inch and 27-inch MiMac‌. It is rumored that Apple is replacing both updated designs and faster performance. His desktop computer has not received a significant overhaul since 2012.

According to l0vetodream, the new model that replaces the 27-inch size will have a larger screen. The private tweet translates to “The ‌iMac‌ screen is very big, bigger than the biggest”.

While there is new information, the larger display size can be easily expected. Bloomberg reported that the new ‌iMac‌ will have thinner frames, metal chin removal and a design language similar to Pro Display XDR. Pro Display XDR, Apple’s independent high-end monitor, has a 32-inch screen.

In addition to a redesign, the new ‌iMac‌ will come equipped with next-generation Apple silicon chips. Internally, Apple is testing chips with up to 16 high-performance cores and four efficiency cores, according to Bloomberg. Jon Prosser also suggests that the new iMacs will come in colors.
