MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The state reports were 1,625,800 people who completed their vaccine series and almost 667,000 received at least one dose. Since Monday, Minnesota has administered 3,731,185 doses of vaccine.
Meanwhile, on Monday, the Minnesota Department of Health reported a total of 1,292 more cases and six more deaths from the virus.

The latest figures for those hospitalized show 172 Minnesota in the ICU. The overall figures show that hospitalization figures continue to rise sharply as more cases of the UK variant are reported, with an average of 12.8 new daily hospitalizations per 100,000 residents. Anything exceeding eight hospitalizations per 100,000 is considered high risk.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 557,665 positive cases and 7,026 deaths.

The average positivity rate of the state is now 7.4%; at the beginning of March it was 3.5%. Anything over 5% is considered a cause of increased caution. In addition, the rate of community spread remains high, with 44% of cases reported without a known source of exposure. The precautionary line is drawn at 20%.
According to the MDH, Minnesota has processed 23,183 COVID tests from the latest reported figures. Since the pandemic began, more than 3.91 million people in Minnesota have been tested.

The current account also indicates that 85% of Minnesota’s seniors (65 and older) are now vaccinated. The state also reports that 52% of Minnesotas aged 16 and over have already received at least one dose.
