Among the announcements: some fans will be allowed to participate in sports events.
However, the health commissioner, Dr. Thomas Farley, said the relaxed restrictions depend on consistent use and a universal mask.
The following dates take effect on Monday, March 1:
SPORTS EVENTS
-Assemblies will be allowed up to state limits
-2,500 people in total for outdoor events, 500 people in total for indoor events
This is good news for Phillies fans, given that Citizens Bank Park is an outdoor venue. The opening of the Phillies House is on April 1.
However, fans will not be allowed in the Wells Fargo Center for Sixers and Flyers games yet.
The total number of people allowed includes not only fans, but also staff. WFC said it requires more than 500 employees on site for a game when fans are present.
“We are in direct communication with city and state officials to determine when we can further increase our capacity and welcome fans back into the arena,” said Valerie Camillo, president of business operations for the Philadelphia Flyers and Wells Fargo Center.
RESTAURANTS
-Up to 6 people allowed on the table outdoors and must not come from the same household
-Current internal capacity limits and requirements continue to apply
STORES FOR SALE
-Increase to 20 people per 1000 square meters
MORE CENTERS
-Opening is allowed, but everyone will need to wear K-N95 or double masks
-No more than 25 people in one room or group
theaters
-It is allowed to serve food in cinemas
-Groups not larger than 4
CATERATED EVENTS
– Indoor catering events are still prohibited
-The limit of outdoor events has been increased to 100 people
RELIGIOUS SERVICES
-Increase capacity by 20%
