According to this plan, people over the age of 65 would be eligible for the vaccine in almost all local municipalities.
For people who are not comfortable with the online registration process, states have developed their own call centers. But when you call the Delaware helpline, you get a busy tone.
Dr. Karyl Rattay, director of the Delaware Department of Public Health, said demand cannot meet supply.
The group 1B vaccination category includes 200,000 Delaware and the state received only about 15,000 vaccines a week.

“We don’t have a vaccine close enough to serve this population right now,” Rattay said.
On the first day of the website’s launch, 56,000 Delewarians requested a meeting with the group 1B vaccine.
Rattay suggested that friends, family and neighbors help the elderly who do not feel comfortable register online for the vaccine.
In Pennsylvania, you are required to book an appointment with the vaccine using a provider map on the state website.
In Philadelphia, you can express interest only online, then the Department of Health will contact you.
“When people are eligible, we’ll contact them about how to scheudle at a meeting,” said Dr. Thomas Farley, Philadelphia’s health commissioner.
In Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, there is growing interest in vaccine administration, but more doses are needed.
“This morning, 80,000 people pre-registered on our vaccination site,” said Dr. Valarie Arkoosh, chairman of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners.
Chester County now includes Category 1B people to be vaccinated immediately. The county is updating the vaccine interest forms to reflect these changes.
In New Jersey, you cannot contact a State Department of Health representative by phone until next week.
In Camden County, appointments are already booked by August. These appointments can be booked through the Cooper Hospital website, which can support 6,000 visitors per second.
If you prefer to call for an appointment, you can reach the Camden County Health Department at (800) 999-9045.
“Soon we will vaccinate over 1,000 (people a day),” said Margarita Camacho, a nurse in Camden County.
Ruth Brodnick’s daughter enrolled her through the Cooper Hospital website. After receiving the first dose, it was already scheduled for the second dose.
“Here I am, it’s a wonderful day. It’s a wonderful day for me and a wonderful day for our country,” Brodnick said.
