Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) Wednesday knocked down Republican colleagues who refused to use the metal detectors installed outside the House room after last week’s deadly uprising at the Capitol.
“To my colleagues who don’t go through the metal detectors: have you ever had a job before?” Bush tweeted. “If you work at McDonald’s and you don’t wear a uniform, you don’t work that day. If you don’t follow the rules of this job, find another one. “
To my colleagues who don’t go through the metal detectors:
Have you ever had a job before? If you work at McDonald’s and you don’t wear a uniform, you don’t work that day.
If you don’t follow the rules of this job, look for another https://t.co/rPO2xek1iB

Bush had expressed similar sentiments earlier in the day on MSNBC’s “All in With Chris Hayes,” saying, “If they don’t stick to the simple things this job calls for, find another one.”
